My favorite Jamaican food has to be jerk pork. Who can resist the smell of the tender loin, seasoned to perfection as it is being "jerked" in the "jerk pan."  No one can make it like those people in Charlemont (near WYNDALCO in Ewarton, St. Catherine, Jamaica).

The key to its wonderful aroma and unforgettable taste - is the chef... Hmmmm!!!!! Then again, it just maybe the Walkerswood Jerk Seasoning!

The point I'm trying to make is - visit Jamaica. Stop in Charlemont. Get some jerk pork for the road. Whatever you do, don't forget to get a "jug" of water cuz it hot so 'til.

Don't forget to mention that KerCha sent you

Just came across the Sam's site while sitting in a office in London, England viewing the site on my PDA. What a great site. I'm now on a mission to pay the store a visit. Is there a restaurant on the site?

      Keep up the great work.

Why have we continued to support only the "Ghetto" aspect of our very rich culture. We have continued to make people around the world think that every Jamaican is a "sufferer," "whore, looking for money for her children, because the father(s) are gone and she needs money for food and rent," "every Jamaican is from Kingston, I.e.: Milk Lane," "our spoken language is patio, which is a dialect, not a language, that is a combination of our history and our motto 'out of many one.' What has happened to all the Jamaican's or are we resigned to the Ghetto immigrants who bring their tales of suffering, violence and bad-manisms to foreign shores as a means of intimidation of the people around them? We are doing nothing more than hurting our selves and creating an underclass of illiterates and regression on many levels. We went from being afraid to saying we are from the Caribbean in the 60's, 70's and early 80's to broadcasting the worse parts of the country -- Our dirty laundry -- for the world to see. When did bad words become part of the norm for our language, or vulgarity including lude dress, mannerism and public display of sexual intercourse as a form of dance...What happened to our proud, culturally and historically rich heritage? Have we just bought into what others think of us without dignity and pride?

why cant we order jamaica food from your store in England by the internet. Lots of people in England would love to have the the real thing over here too. IN fact if you setup astore here in England i will run it.

Sams:  Thanks for your offer, Peggy.  We will take your request into consideration.  However, you CAN order from our website even if you are in England.  The only problem is the high shipping charges, which are beyond our control.  In fact, we have a large customer base in England.

        Sincerely,

        Andrew
